To
be honest, there is no reason to comment on the other films because Les
Miserables has this one in the bag.
Until now, all movie musicals have recorded their singing tracks in a
closed studio and edited the clean auto into the film post production. Les Miserables marks the first time
singing tracks have ever been recorded live on the set during filming. This innovation will be rewarded by the Academy.
